Being in a serious relationship with a British or settled partner does not guarantee that a visa will be granted to enter the UK. The immigration rules set out certain “hoops” to jump through , the most controversial one probably being the need to show financial support in ways which are strictly defined.

We can advise Applicants and their Sponsors on the detail of the immigration rules and the procedures to use when applying for a visa. She can check draft applications and supporting documents and can write her own letter to support an application, perhaps elaborating on the detail and explaining any inconsistencies.

Once a visa has been granted she can advise Applicants on the next steps needed to ensure that they will be able to extend their leave when the time comes and on any pitfalls to watch out for in the future.
