British citizenship applications
It is possible to be British without being aware of it and this is the first thing to be checked when a client asks for help with becoming British.
There are different ways of applying to become British and JHI will establish the appropriate route for both adults and children.
Most adults seeking British citizenship will apply to naturalise. This is an expensive application and the majority of the fee will be retained by the Home Office if an application is refused. JHI can advise on the criteria to be met including the rules on absences from the UK and the good character requirement. Applications can be completed and submitted or, if a client prefers, can be checked with a view to that client then submitting an application independently.
