COST OF APPLYING FOR PRE-SETTLED STATUS OR SETTLED STATUS

The hourly rate is £325 unless by agreement it is £340, if, for example, work will be done at weekends or in the evenings or if an application is particularly complex or urgent.

On average it takes around 4 hours to help with an application for pre-settled status or an application for settled status.

A fixed fee of £1300 will be offered when it is considered appropriate. This will include the services set out below. It will be offered when it seems that there will be no unusual complications or delays of over 6 months from the time of JHI being asked to assist.

If it becomes clear that the work can not be finished within a fixed fee we will let you know as soon as it becomes clear and will let you know in advance that we plan to charge for additional work at the usual hourly rate.

Sometimes a lower fixed fee will be offered if it is considered that there are compassionate reasons to do so.  VAT will be charged at the rate of 20% if an Applicant lives in the UK.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WHEN ASSISTING WITH AN APPLICATION FOR PRE-SETTLED STATUS OR SETTLED STATUS ?

Initial advice on your situation, what you hope to apply for, the information and documentation needed and what we think is likely to be the outcome of an application. This may be by telephone or zoom but would usually be at a meeting.

Completion and submission of an online application (assuming we have advised there is merit in an application) and the uploading of your photograph.

Submission of your passport and other documents /request for the immediate return of your passport

Follow-up communication with the Home Office

Advice on the outcome of the application and on things to think about in the future.

WHAT ADDITIONAL COSTS WILL YOU NEED TO PAY?

There is no Home Office fee for such an application though you may wish to pay for a pre-paid special delivery envelope to ensure the prompt return of your passport. This is usually in the region of £6.75.
