This route is very flexible, does not require an offer of employment in advance and can in some circumstances lead to eligibility for Indefinite Leave to Remain in just three years. There are no minimum income or language requirements which adds to its popularity.
Eligible applicants can be “leaders “ in their field or can show “exceptional promise” as potential leaders if they are early on in their career.
They must be 18 years or older and have expertise in academia or research, arts and culture or digital technology.
They are permitted to bring their eligible dependent partners and children.
