FREE VISA EXTENSIONS- WITH NO IMMIGRATION HEALTH SURCHARGE FOR FRONTLINE HEALTH AND CARE WORKERS
It has today been confirmed that the previously announced automatic extension of leave for NHS doctors, nurses, and paramedics will apply to frontline workers including midwives, radiographers, social workers, and pharmacists, whether they work for the NHS or for the independent sector. Their family members will also have their leave extended for one year.
This will apply to health and care workers whose leave is due to expire before 1st October 2020 and will be automatic.
NHS workers who have already paid to extend their leave will be able to apply for a refund.
