Skilled Workers

It is increasingly difficult to come to the UK to work, and to remain here,  and it can be useful to take advice before applying for a Skilled Worker visa. Being sponsored by a licenced employer is of course essential but there are other requirements to meet – relating to finances, English language ability and immigration history.

We can advise on the requirements of the immigration rules , check draft applications for visas and if necessary liaise with licenced employers.

Once in the UK a sponsored worker must comply with a set of conditions and should make sure they are familiar with what they are permitted to do and what would be a breach of the immigration rules. We can advise on the detail of the rules and on what to bear in mind if a worker hopes to extend their leave in the UK, to settle here and, maybe, apply for eventual British citizenship.
